Drywall Repair & Patching in Niagara Region

Paint shows every flaw underneath it. Holes from wall anchors, doorknob dents, cracked corners, nail pops, tape seams that have lifted and old water stains all need to be fixed properly before painting, or they will show through the new finish.

We repair small and medium drywall damage, re-tape lifted seams, fix cracked corner bead, reset popped screws, and seal water stains with a stain-blocking primer once the leak has been fixed. Repairs are feathered out and sanded so they disappear under paint, and we can texture-match where needed.

Drywall repair is included as standard prep on our painting jobs, and we also take on repair-only work.

Can you match the existing wall texture?+
In most cases, yes. Smooth walls are easiest. Textured walls and ceilings can usually be blended closely.
Will the repair show after painting?+
Properly feathered and primed repairs should not show. For the best result we usually repaint the whole wall rather than just the patch.
Do you fix water damage?+
Once the source of the leak has been repaired, we can replace damaged drywall, seal stains and repaint. We do not repair plumbing or roofing.
Do you take on small repair-only jobs?+
Yes, though small jobs are often more cost-effective when combined with painting.
How long does drywall compound take to dry?+
Each coat needs drying time, so most repairs take a day or two before they are ready to paint.
